The labour market in June 2016

Registered unemployment was 2,0% in June 2016 or down with 0,2% from  May 2016 but down from 2,6% in June 2015.

There were in average 3.789 unemployed in June 2016 or down with 229 from May 2016.

Unemployment by gender:

The unemployment by men was 1,6% in June 2016, down from 1,8% in May 2016.  The unemployment by women was 2,5% in June 2016 or down from 2,6% in May 2016.

The unemployment by young people:

There were 535 young 18-24 years unemployed in June 2016 or down from 577 in May 2016 but down from 740 in June 2015.

The long term unemployed:

There were 1.026 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in June 2016 or down from 1.068 in May 2016.

Open vacancies:

There were 349 open vacancies in June 2016 or down with 83 from May 2016 and up with 26 from June 2015.

Work permits:

There were 57 new open work permits issued in June 2016 or up with 3 new work permits from May 2016.

The unemployment forecast for July 2016:

It is expected that the unemployment rate will not change considerably in July 2016 and be between 2% and 2,2%.
