The unemployment by men was 2,3% in October 2018, or up from 2,2% in September 2018. The unemployment by women was 2,4% in October 2018 or the same as in September 2018.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 546 young, aged 18-24 years unemployed in October 2018 or up from 474 in September 2018.
The long term unemployed:
There were 943 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in October 2018, or up from 905 in September 2018.
There were 133 new incoming open vacancies in October 2018 or down from 159 new incoming open vacancies in September 2018.
There were in total 205 work permits (all types of work permits) issued in October 2018 but 189 in September 2018.
There were 29 foreign service companies registered to Directorate of Labour in October 2018. These foreign service companies employed 212 workers in October 2018.
There were 27 Temporary-work agencies registered to Directorate of Labour in October 2018. These Temporary-work agencies hired out 1.631 workers in October 2018.

It is expected that the unemployment in November 2018 will increase and be between 2,4% and 2,6%.
