Holiday Opening Hours
The Directorate of Labour will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. From the 27th until the 30th of December, the service center in Reykjavík and Maternity/Paternity Leave Fund is open between 9:00 and 15:00.
Service centers outside the Captial Region are open the same days from 9:00-13:00.
The call center is open the same days from 9:00 – 15:00
Please note that you can still chat with our chatbot, Vinny 24 hours a day here on our website, and submit documents and other information via ‘Mt Pages’
In light of the circumstances due to the large number of COVID infections, we encourage everyone to take advantage of Vinny, ‘My Pages’ or the call center.
